Senator Costa recognizes the vital role of Public Safety

Senator Jay Costa visited the Homestead Police Station to gain a birds-eye view of the new Police patrol vehicle purchased with state DCED grant money.

Costa was given a run through of features of the new police cruiser that is part of an ongoing effort with the Homestead police department.

Costa said: “I recognize the importance of Public Safety and the vital equipment needs that must to be met in order for these dedicated police officers to do their jobs to the best of their ability”.

Costa added he was duly impressed with the extensive research conducted by Homestead Police Chief Jeff DeSimone to make sure the police force received the best possible police cruiser at the best possible price.
